There are days when we want a quick breakfast or something to just grab-n-go. This smoothie is perfect for such days and its very filling. There are no strict ingredients to be followed for this smoothie. Idea behind this recipe is to combine bunch of ingredients that we have in breakfast and blend it into smoothie. You can use blueberries instead of strawberries. You can substitute agave nectar with honey and use plain yogurt, soy milk or almond milk instead of strawberry greek yogurt. These are my choice of ingredients and usually I have it on hand.
Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 5-6 strawberries
- ¼ cup of old fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp of Flaxseed meal
- 1 tbsp of Agave necter
- ½ cup of Strawberry greek yogurt or plain greek yogurt
- Handful of Almonds or any other nuts
Instructions
- In a blender, combine all the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve.
