Quick Avocado Bruschetta With Balsamic Sauce

Ingredients

Baguette or any rustic bread
sliced
2
avocados halved
seeded, peeled and diced
1
cup
cherry tomatoes
halved

basil leaves
chiffonade

tbsp
olive oil
1/2
cup
balsamic vinegar
2
tbsp
brown sugar
Salt & black pepper
some more olive oil to drizzle on baguette slices
Instructions
To make Balsamic sauce
Boil balsamic vinegar and brown sugar together. Turn the heat on simmer and let it go for 5 minutes. Let it cool completely before using.
In a bowl, mix diced avocados, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, olive oil with salt and pepper to taste.
Brush baguette slices with olive oil.
To toast Baguette slices
In OVEN: Preheat the oven at 375 degrees and place all the slices on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
On GRILL PAN: On hot grill pan place slices and toast it on both the sides until golden brown.
Top each toasted baguette slices with avocado and cherry tomatoes mixture.
Drizzle prepared balsamic sauce on each toast and serve immediately.
